Amit Sinha, MBA, President & CEO

Amit Sinha, the company's principal founder, has been in the health care industry for about twenty years — with the last fourteen dedicated to the orthopedic industry.

Mr. Sinha started his orthopedic career in product development taking multiple products from concept, through development, and commercialization. He is named on six product patents. He also facilitated acquisitions of multiple companies including identification of potential targets through due diligence and integration activities.

His tenure in product development and marketing was with the industry leader in trauma- Synthes as well as Integra and Globus Medical.

Mr. Sinha has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Calcutta and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Eastern University.

His entrepreneurial experience includes being co-founder of a stand-alone medical diagnostic center — South Point Diagnostic & Research Center as well as a nonprofit microcredit organization Prana International.


Mark Spilker, Ph.D. Research & Development

Over his career, Dr. Spilker has led product development and program management teams in the areas of tissue-engineered biologics, electro-mechanical devices, and electronics. He has launched many new products and served as a company resource person for best practices in product development and design controls. Currently he heads product development as Vice President of Research and Development at the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation which is the nation's largest tissue bank.

Prior to MTF he held senior management positions at Integra Lifesciences where he was responsible for strategic marketing and product development for Integra's neurosurgery business unit. Prior to joining Integra he conducted post-graduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology making significant contributions in the field of biomaterials technology and tissue engineering in neurosurgery.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah and an M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Grif Bates, MBA, Marketing

Grif Bates is an accomplished marketing leader with 25 years of marketing and product management experience in the healthcare industry. Mr. Bates worked at Merck for over sixteen years prior to which he was at Procter & Gamble for about eight years.

At Merck and P&G, Mr. Bates led, developed, and implemented marketing strategies for pharmaceuticals as well as consumer packaged products. He had P&L responsibility for both new product launches as well as large existing brands. He has worked both in the US as well as had experience as a global brand manager.
He received his Bachelors in Economics and his MBA (Darden School of Business) from the University of Virginia.


Ram Srinivasan, MS, Board Member

As an entrepreneur and manager, Ram Srinivasan has over 25 years of experience in engineering and marketing management. He is a venture partner at Munich based Wellington Partners. Before joining Wellington, Mr. Srinivasan was President and CEO of web analytics provider Fireclick from inception in 1999 to acquisition in 2004. He then established their strategic direction, while managing daily operations and technology initiatives. Prior to Fireclick, he was Vice President of Product Marketing for RightPoint Software. At Red Brick, Mr. Srinivasan led product marketing and management while directing product evolution strategy, culminating in the company's IPO.

Mr. Srinivasan has an in-depth understanding of high-technology companies. His penchant for solving gnarly business challenges while bringing along the technical constituency is breaking new ground in forming productive start-up teams. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, a postgraduate diploma in Management and a Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering
